I grew up on a ranch and hunting was not only a great recreational
activity but at times it meant having something to eat besides beans. I
can't walk well enough to hunt in the fields any longer and although I
still enjoy shooting I can afford store bought steaks. I always thought
half of the fun in hunting was getting together with a bunch of other
hunters and telling TRUE stories about our exploits in the field.
I have to use a Kawasaki Mule to get around the woods now and I spend
most of my time in the woods with a camera rather than a rifle. I have
always wondered if anyone makes a rifle mounted scope/camera that could
take a picture simultaneously with the trigger pull. Have any of you
ever heard of an item like this? Even if you decided not to shoot any
game it would be a great training aid to see what kind of trigger pull
and target acquistion skills a shooter has. Besides that having a
snapshot of a big beautiful buck with the crosshairs imposed over the
kill zone would give me bragging rights with the Bambi killers at the
local hunters bar. If any of you know of a scope/camera combo like this
I would sure appreciate hearing from you.
