A way to upgrade processor?

I have a Acer Aspire 5536, it works good but I find that sometimes the CPU is a little weak. Its a AMD Athlon X2 QL-64. Im wondering if I could upgrade it, if so where could I buy the new CPU, ive tried newegg, but they only have Intel CPU's. I would appreciate any help or even advice.

Even if you could find a better mobile AMD CPU, it probably would not be worth it in terms of the headache. Plus, an upgraded chip may not have the same power requirements (TDP), which could brick the laptop or fry it. Your best bet is to save up and go for something that you will not have to mess with.

ok thanks, I was planning on saving up for something better, maybe an iMac, if not a windows desktop.
