Access denied to portable hard drive

Howdy.
Windows 10.

Was trying to restrict permissions to a portable hard drive i have.

I went to properties, security, advanced and saw a lot of profiles that could gain access.

I removed all of them except for the ADMINSTRATOR, which is my windows login username.

Once i finshed it all, the drive is now not accessible to myself even though the properties say i have full control and access.

The drive will now NOT open and says access is denied.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unsure.
But i enabled the ADMINISTRATOR LOGIN on Windows 10, logged off my personal user account and logged in as ADMINISTRATOR. From there, i was able to access the hard drive.
Then i just went into the security settings and added a bunch of accounts that had my personal username, and now i am able to access the hard drive from both accounts.
