ACER Aspire 5100 Recovery CD

Hello,

I have an ACER Apire 5100 that wont let me get past the HDD password screen. Acer says I need to use the Recovery CD, but did not receive one when purchased new. Does any one have any ideas where I can get the recovery CD at a reasonable cost? I am trying to fix this laptop for an elderly gentleman that I work with.

Acer use to sell recovery disc for Aspire 5100 for about $20US. But if you're
locked out of your hard drive because of hardware detection or bios changes, even your password will be useless. Best call Acer Tech for advice on that.
