Acer aspire one with black screen

My Acer aspire one series N214 Model No ZG5 power on but nothing display on the screen and on external monitor please help

Can you get into BIOS as soon as you power up? If you can remove the battery from the unit, disconnect from the wall, remove the battery and press down on the power button for 30 seconds. Connect them all back and see if you regain functionality.

I have tried that but nothing comes up

Acer Aspire one N214 model no ZG5 with black screen and also on external monitor. No signal light was on, it will only blink immediately the power is being pressed. The former complain is boot device not found, insert a bootable device. I tried to format the HDD and an error message came up showing that Windows cannot be installed on this drive due to some settings in the Bios menu. Please how can I resolve this

My Acer aspire one series N214 model no ZG5 complains that no bootable device found, so I tried to install windows 7 but is complaining of the bios. Then I lose it to remove the HDD, and when I coupled it nothing display on the screen also on external monitor.
Please help me

What OS are you trying to install on the laptop? What OS did it come with? Stop creating multiple threads. It'll only make things worse for people trying to help you.
