Acer laptop black sreen

It was on and working and the screen went black. I tried removing the battery, holding down f12 ...nothing. I tried f2,f9,f10 enter to bring up bios, it appeared for a second, then went black screen. I tried it again and closed the laptop to a 45 degree angle and bios appeared. When I opened it to a 90 degree angle, black screen again....Help

Hi,

That's actually the display that has an issue. Try and hook up and external monitor and see if it display normal on it because if it does you need to open the laptop and make sure that the cables connecting the LCD and back light are seated properly in the motherboard. If all these failed to fix the problem replacement cable might be need to fix this issue.
