Acer laptop monitor wont turn on.

I have an Acer V5 touchscreen laptop. The other day i dropped it, now the screen wont turn on. I have connected it to an external monitor and it works fine. Even the touchscreen functions and the embedded webcam work but monitor stays off. In fact, when i check display settings it only lists the external display. Any ideas? Thanks!

hello there have you asked the fine folks over in the laptop tech support forum? The only thing i can think of is that when you dropped it the cable from the screen got disconnected from the motherboard and thats why its not working hope this helps
