Acer Travelmate 7520 boot problem.

Hello,
my friends acer travelmate 7520g laptop. it turns on, gets through the acer loading screen but then the screens is black but still turned on. i have tried booting without battery, cannot enter bios, re installed ram.
Any ideas? thanks in advance

Try connecting an external monitor -- if it works the laptop's screen or screen illumination is the culprit.

the external monitor does not respond and now the laptop constantly beeps twice, until i turn it off.
