There is a lot more to marketing than choosing product names. Marketing starts even before the the development of a product begins. It's the difference between doing things right and doing the right things.
Designing this tablet with these specs for this price is an engineering success. Having it sit in the market right next to the iPad is a marketing fail.
A slightly lower price, SD card slot and marginally bigger display are most likely not enough to kick the iPad from it's throne. Not while iOS has all the tablet apps.
