I'm not stepping in one of those. I don't want that radiation in my body unless I'm looking out for my own medical health. Screw them.

'Those who would give up liberty, for a momentary increase in security deserve neither'

These things need to be banned yesterday. Treating everyone like a terrorist is bullshit. Giving up our liberties because of the terrorists is bullshit. The war on terror is a war that can never end, its perfect, you keep saying that removing liberties are to protect us from the faceless enemy of the terrorist, they have no country to bomb, you can never get rid of them all, all you can do is spend hundres of billions each year fighting a faceless ememy forever.

End result, the terrorits are still there, and our personal freedoms continue to erode. People need to stand up and get outraged over this crap.

If these pics are so low detail and not a big deal, then why do minors need to be "protected" from them?

On the one hand, i have pix on my own site that include me doing everything except going to church, but on the other hand I selected and posted them. Drive-by peeks are lame.

My privacy is already being invaded as it is, every time you punch a keyword on your computer it gets recorded by NSA ( just an example), so I guess unless we grow some balls and tell the govt. that they're supposed to serve us within the constitutional limits, there will be no limit...

So, all you people who are up in arms about being seen without clothes on - would refuse to let a doctor see you in the same state yes???

Both scenarios are for your own good, blimey you lot are such prudes!

Oh and the irony of being carted off to a separate room for a strip search being OK - but a fuzzy image on a scanner being bad... Crazy?

To all those worried about being scanned: Get over yourself. Nobody cares all that much what you look like. If you don't want to be scanned, don't fly on a plane.

[citation][nom]solymnar[/nom]OMG!!!...right...because its REALLY hard to take the chemicals onto the plane in powder form, request water from the flight attendant and reconstitute it in the bathroom[/citation]
...and it takes an idiot like yourself to assume that all 'chemicals' are aqueous solutions. Maybe you think that they could bring on their own dehydrated water too!

[citation][nom]Clintonio[/nom]I dislike this system, mostly because I don't want anyone seeing my wife completely nude. I don't mind myself being completely nude, but yeah, no on my wife. I can't see this going down well with the Muslim community too, who incidentally it's completely aimed at (In the western mind, "muslim = terrorist"). I'm against it entirely. It should be outlawed before it gets abused.[/citation]
Yeah, everyone hates Terrorist (Muslim). According to Holy Book, Qur'an, it's forbidden to get your privates parts watched by another person.

So why do you believe this is the only way you will not stand like a 00000000.1% chance of becoming a terrorist victim on a plane? Bomb sniffing dogs have been long used and are very highly effective. Also, I guess you never hear of this:

And here is a little video to teach the uneducated:

Your chances of diying in a regular (non-terrorist related) plane crash is 1 in 354,319. Seems to me that is the much bigger problem and we already have solutions for terrorist, that don't require some dumb kid looking at my junk. We just need to get off our ass and use them.

I'm confused....it says you have to be over 18 to go in the 3D imaging scanner....but...I'm 13 years of age (as of now and at the time) and I went to the airport and they told me to step in the 3D imaging scanner...is this illegal??? If so, please tell me, it makes me think pervs were looking at scanned 3D images of my woman goodies 0_0
