hello! I don't know if I'm in the right place but my friend has some issues with her [strike]computers[/strike] laptop's keyboard.

As long as I see, ALL the keyboard mapping-layout is wrong. When I press Q it prints x when I press f8 it prints the time and date. 7 and 8 on numpad prints dot and coma.

it is a samsung np300e5c-a07us with windows 8.1

things I have done: there was one extra HID keyboard on device manager. I removed it and restarted. nothing changed.

keyboard driver is up to date.

windows is up-to-date.

couldn't find new keyboard driver on samsung website.

I left my external keyboard for her which works fine.

some people are asking about the language and region settings. it is all set. Even Ctrl and alt keys prints something else.

I'm waiting for your answers. BTW if you dont know anything about the solution, please dont make any information pollution like "hey bro did you try that!?" because it is not my pc. I dont always have access to it. and I have so little time because of school.

Thank you very much!

by saying "Num Lock", do you mean something other than the num lock key on the numpad? because if you mean that key, it is a funny idea that num lock is going to change the all keyboard configuration.

I dont think you fully read my post.
