All the games that were running on my laptop have suddenly stopped after i had rebooted it.. What is causing this issue?

i rebooted my sony laptop because of a virus but after that i am unable to run any game. They just crash when loading. There should be something definetly in my system as earlier it was all fine...

If any of the files used by the games were infected, they could have been removed/deleted. Also, there could still be a virus on the device.
