Alternative firmware for a Sony DSLR?

Hi guys,

I have an old DSLR camera lying around that I thought I would put to use. It is an SLT-A37 and is, overall, a good camera, the only problem is it doesn't have any manual adjustments for audio levels which is a huge disadvantage when recording video with an external mic. Has anyone found any alternative firmware that's sort of similar to magic lantern for Canon DSLRs for the Sony A series cameras?

The latest official firmware for this camera is 1.04.

I cannot find any alternative firmware for this camera.

I'm currently using 1.04 but I was hoping there was alternative that added a few much needed features.

Unfortunately, most cameras do not have enough of a community to develop alternative firmware. Seems like Canons and Nikons do, but most others do not.
