Alternative fn key

Hello, my notebook keyboard got damaged so i'm now using an external keyboard. however i cannot connect to the internet as the message "a network cable is unplugged" appears. This is usually resolved by pressing the fn key and F11.
As my external keyboard doesn't have an fn key is there any other way around this problem?

The only thing that will work is to remap a key to the Fn key. You may need to Google the key code for the registry however. Not 100% sure it will work though. Other option is a replacement keyboard. Should run about a $100.

Unless you are in an area where only Wi-Fi is available.

As stated by others, re-map the FN so something you don't very often like maybe the "~" key.
