Another Acer Aspire 5920 screen issue

So here is the deal:

Laptop boots ok. I can hear the windows log in sound.
Screen is displaying random vertical lines.
Plug in external monitor on either vga or hdmi port has no effect. I press the switch screen combination on the laptop, and the screen just turns off, and the external display receives no signal.

So is it a broken screen? then why the external display doesn't work? Is it a broken gpu? then why does it boot ok?

I would appreciate any help .

So i baked the GPU in the oven and now it works 😀 , It idles @ 72C though, even though i applied new thermal paste. The stock cooler is very bad, i think i need to find some copper pads.
