App for Android & Windows - simple text lists

Hey

I have been using Evernote for a while to keep a few separate text lists. They're simple lists, with a few variations in font sizes and color. Evernote does not handle that well, for example, of a list of seven hundred item. Frankly, I'm getting more and more frustrated with it the longer I use it.

I'm looking for a replacement to hold my lists. I need to be able to search within a note on android. I need to be able to edit the list on a Windows computer and in android with a keyboard (as opposed to a stylus or handwriting recognition).

For brief moment I thought that Microsoft OneNote was the solution until I found out that OneNote does not allow for searching within a note.

Might anyone have a suggestion?

One of my notes is a list of about seven hundred book titles, plus when applicable, the names of their series.

Google Keep isn't able to handle the size of that note. It keeps some of it and pushes the rest into Google Docs.
