AppleTV blew up my Samsung TV

Apple TV worked for a few weeks, then, when using it, Samsung Smart TV screen went black and refuses to come back on even using only its manual switch and no wires/cables other than the TV's power cord.

It's not impossible but it is unlikely that the Apple TV damaged your TV. It just may have happened while you were using the Apple TV.
