So here's the rundown guys I'd like some help if possible. I'm upgrading my graphics card of my computer to a gtx 750 TI and I want to get a larger hdtv to go with it.

My question is this, I know nothing about HDTV monitor setups, I would like to get a 42 inch HDTV that would have the best quality when gaming on a PC, things like battlefield 4. Does anyone have any suggestions on which 42 inch TV would be best as far as low input lag and amazing quality with not a really expensive price? Somewhere around the $500-$600 mark would be ideal.

I already have a 27 inch 720p monitor, over the years I realized I needed something bigger such as a 42 inch... but I hear so many different things about which type of hdtv to get which is why I ask this question. Plasma or LCD? Etc. I understand that 120Hz is fake and I should get one with 60Hz instead, I was just hoping someone could link me to something viable for me :p

No the higher the refresh rate the more clear picture you will get: http://www.google.com.pk/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.speedupmypcfree.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F04%2F60HzVS120Hz.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fffxivrealm.com%2Fthreads%2F60hz-vs-120hz-tvs-for-ffxiv.3419%2F&h=250&w=350&tbnid=diZNIf8XEJXVhM%3A&zoom=1&docid=uSCQOZQDvnYCbM&ei=sDA1U4_bEaPv0gW7hYGoCw&tbm=isch&ved=0CGQQhBwwBg&iact=rc&dur=825&page=1&start=0&ndsp=15

Don't worry refresh rate does not effect gaming. The higher the refresh rate the more clear picture you will get. Like I have a 60 Hz refresh rate and when i am playing nfs rivals or hot pursuit 2010 and the car is at 180 200 the corners of my screen get blurry. But if you have 120 Hz or 140Hz you will get more better picture.
