Astro A40 Headset

I was thinking of getting the Astro A40s with the MixAmp Pro to use for gaming on my PC. Mainly games like CS:GO and other FPS Shooters so I can take full advantage of the surround sound.

I was wondering if I also needed to buy a 7.1 Sound Card to be able to use the Dolby Surround Sound? Or will just the Astro A40 + MixAmp Pro be enough to hear the surround sound? My motherboard does not have a 7.1 sound card built I

2 quality speakers produce all the surround necessary on modern hardware. Try this if you want to see for yourself.

Astro doesn't sound as good as other more reliable options.
