ASUS G750VW subwoofer plays with headphones

I recently purchased this laptop and have had quite a lot of troble with the audio. Its an Asus G750VW running Windows 10 Home 64 bit. It also has Via HD Audio. Whenever I plug in headphones, the subwoofer continues to play. SOmetimes the headphones work, others its just the subwoofer. I tried updating the drivers but I'm not 100% sure it was the right one. Hi,

Do try to uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the sound card driver
- Reboot the laptop so it would reinstall the driver automatically.
- Test it again after the reboot.
- If it doesn't work it may seem to be a hardware problem since the audio port is not detecting that you have a headphone connected.
- Do contact Asus Support for more information about that issue.
