I have an Asus K50IJ laptop, with windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and a T4300 Intel processor.
The specs:
http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/K50IJ/#specifications
http://ark.intel.com/products/37253/Intel-Pentium-Processor-T4300-1M-Cache-2_10-GHz-800-MHz-FSB

Will this laptop be compatible with T9300 or T9500 processors ? I think socket and chipset are compatible, right ?
specs:

http://ark.intel.com/products/33918/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T9500-6M-Cache-2_60-GHz-800-MHz-FSB

I would like to know your opinion.

Thank you

The chip set and socket might be compatible, but the main thing is that I believe the CPU is soldered onto the board. With laptops, they rarely make it easy to swap out CPUS, GPUs, ect. If you are handy enough to open up the casing to check, than by all means; but if you are not comfortable enough to open it up, than this type of swap is not recommended.

Thank you for your response. I understand your question, but it is not soldered. Look at an example.

My main doubt is if BIOS is compatible.
