ASUS K555u Wont Turn On

Hello everyone, im having a problem with my ASUS K555U laptop it wont open, when i push the power button the power led indicator turns to consistent white, but the battery indicator is blinking white twice and it keeps doing that, is that a motherboard problem? Thanks!

Hi, you can try this, unplug the adapter, remove the battery, hold the power button for a minute, reconnect the adapter and start the laptop. If you have the same problem, then something is defective on the motherboard.
