asus k55a laptop hdmi port stopped working

hi, i own asus k55a laptop and i used the hdm port all the time,
but today it stopped working. it doesnt even make a sound when i plug the cable in.
it is not the cable for sure, i have checked.
anyone?

The port has likely worn out. another thing to try is to contact asus support and see if there is a driver update for the hdmi port

i also noticed my intel HD graphics 4000 is missing since i updatd to win 8.1 2 days ago
and i ran a scan on my computer eith drivertuner.. here is a screen shot

go to the intel site and make sure to update to the latest integrated drivers, as well as all other drivers
