Asus K55V 3 seconds freeze

Hello,

I just bought an Asus K55V, i5 - 2,5Ghz, nVidia 2gb, 8GB ramm, 750 sata hard disk, windows 8.

My problem is that every 20, 30 minutes i get a freeze for 1-2-3 seconds, the hardware sounds like it can't read something. I think the hdd ... The specific sound is like the one of a CD-rom ( when it cannot read a broken CD and it keeps tryin' ) You know what i mean ?


I wonder whats the problem ?

Run a hard drive test in DOS... HIRENS BOOT CD etc, it sounds like a failing hard drive...

I had run some hdd check software and they say all good. How to run drive test in DOS ?
