Hello guys,
So I have a Asus K56CM-XX039D notebook and I want to buy a SSD. This product, to be more specific http://www.pcgarage.ro/ssd/a-data/premier-pro-sp310-series-128gb-msata/
Now, the laptop has that slot inside, I've seen it myself and on the MB is written "SSD".
BUT! The guy from the support center, from that site, told me that it may be disabled by Asus. So even if it's phisically there, it may not be seen by the system.
Is that correct?
Does anybody know if I should try that or not?
Thank you!

From what i know if you place the order online you can return it in 48 hours, so buy see if it seen in bios if it works keep it if not return it, be carefull i had some issue with pcgarage and you must be very confident on you when you talk to them or they will just treat you like a nobody especially when you want to return products.

Yeah I know the risks, but I still want the DVD and if there's an option to use the mSATA then why not?

Anyway, in BIOS, in SATA Confirguration there are only two ports displayed:
Port 0: HDD
Port 2: DVD
So, which one is port 1? Can that be the mSATA and the BIOS shows only the connected ones?

Dont know what to say, i never opened such a notebook. If you say you have msata on the motherboard there are high chances that it will work.
