Asus keyboard problems

When I try to access email accounts (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc.) and some other password required sites, I have problems. I start entering my password, after a few key strokes, part of what I entered goes away. Sometimes the entry becomes highlighted, sometimes I can see my entry, and sometimes I get a few of the security black dots. In most cases, I have to enter my password two or three times before it takes. I have used the same keys in other formats (other than passwords) and everything works fine. It appears that the problem only occur while entering passwords.

That is not an issue with the laptop unless you are hitting the touchpad while typing. Try using an external keyboard.

Your password should not be visible in the password field.
