i bought Asus x552L, 8gb ram, nvidia gefroce 820m 1gb, 2.7 GHz,can this run games smooth like Dota 2, NBA 2k14?

To make sure you can run a game , look at the minimum requirements . Apparently the chip is capable . If the VRAM caps the performance , you ll see stuttering . In such case : lower the quality .

shaders are the stream processors in/of the videocard that process the graphics calculations/operations
