Asus Laptop keeps bugging out

I have an Asus F550C Notebook and over the last few weeks it has been acting strange.

while doing anything on the PC, every few seconds it will refresh and click off the active window.

Its a real struggle to type and i keep on having to click on the text area every few seconds.

When i open drop down boxes, i have about 5 seconds to pick my option, else it closes the box.

Any help will be appreciated as i am unable to get any work done.

i am currently running Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Seems like malware.

I have scanned my notebook with a malware scanner, didnt pick anything up
