Asus laptop Ram memory

I know that Asus k501ux won't except external memory more then 8GB but can't really understand wheather the one i found is compatable with the laptop. (Kingston 8GB DDR3L 1600MHz CL11 Low Voltaj Notebook Ram)--this is the one i am looking at right now. DDR3L--part messes up everything complitely! Voltage is crucial part here! IS the one i found compatable?

according to the Asus web site it comes with internal 4GB (cannot change that) and upgradeable to 12GB so your looking for a SINGLE stick of 8GB

but looking for 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM on newegg offerings start at 44$
