ASUS N56VZ 100% HDD usage

Hey Tom!

My ASUS N56VZ shows me a 100% harddisk usage, almost all of the time.
Booting the system, but also opening programs takes a whole lot longer than it used to do.
I've done two fresh installs (one with ASUS recovery to Windows 8, one with Windows 8.1), changed the harddisk but it didn't help.

Is there anything I can do about it?

have you made multiple partitions by accident - and then instead of formatting just created new sets of the OS?

Nope, there are only two partitions, one with Windows (around 650GB) and one with ASUS Recovery on it (around 20GB)
