So my asus notebook has been really weird lately. The ghz goes from .87 ghz to 2.5ghz and the max is 1.9 ghz.

Anyone know how to make it stable? it constantly keeps changing even when I'm not doing anything.

(AMD A8 with Radeon dual graphics 7640G + 7470m 1gb)

I'm assuming you have an A8-4500M? 1.9GHz is the max clock speed when loading up all cores, but 2.5GHz is what it can boost to with single-core workloads.
That's how modern hardware works. It throttles down when idling (e.g. sitting on the desktop, using web browser, etc), and ramps up when a real workload is applied that requires the full use of it.

Even if it passes its 1.9 ghz limit??
