ASUS ROG Laptop w/ NVIDIA GTX 960m; Low FPS

May 30, 2016
My System: ASUS ROG G55IJW, Intel Core i7-4720HQ @ 2.60GHz, Nvidia Geforce GTX 960m, 16gb of RAM, Running Windows 10
I've had my laptop for about 8 months now, and have had little to no problems until now. I usually play older games that don't demand a lot from my laptop, but after buying Battlefield 4 a couple weeks ago, and Overwatch last week, I've noticed a significant drop in frames. On low settings, Overwatch runs at about 40-60 fps. While this is definitely playable, I should be getting much better frames, especially on low settings. says I should be getting almost 200 fps on low settings. I've messed around in Geforce Experience and have the latest drivers, disabled battery booster, etc. Anybody know a fix?

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
