Hey folks,
I just bought my first gaming laptop, and have finally got around to playing some games. I quickly noticed how loud the fans get on this thing within 10 minutes of launching a game like Fortnite, Dota2, Guildwars.. you name it.
I'm not so concerned about the fan noise, I can totally live with that. But.. when I launched the ROG Gaming Centre I saw that the temps on the CPU are well over 90° C (for all 4 cores). I don't feel comfortable running my games for more than an hour as I fear I'll cause damage. When I'm just browsing the CPU cores sit around 45° C - 50° C. Maybe newer laptops are ok getting this hot?
Are these temps normal? Should I not be worried and keep gaming? Any suggestions?
