I have asus k01A tablet, it got stuck on Asus loading screen, i have been waiting for 10 + minutes but nothing happens, as i tilt it to right [horizontal to either sides] i saw the half menu screen, it means it was turned on and showed menu as well before, but the loading screen is still there , half on the screen. as i restored it to factory setting, it works fine, shows the whole screen and menu, but after turning it off and turning it on, i get the same issue. i have restored the factory setting 3 times, and after restoring , tablet works fine, but as i turned the tablet off and turn it back on, the loading screen wont go away, it stays on half of the screen and half shows the tablet menu, and functions..Does it mean that now i can never turn my tablet off.? how do i fix it ?

When you do the reset, are you choosing the option to keep your personal stuff? If you are, then it isn't really being reset completely, which, if the problem is anything software related, then it would stay on the tablet.

I would suggest you back up anything you want to keep from the tablet to a cloud account or a computer (files, contacts, etc., not apps) and then do a full "Hard Reset" which will wipe everything. Now should this not fix it, then there may be a hardware issue.

NOTE: Doing this will clear 'all' the data on your tablet, so it is suggested you not choose this option unless you have to, or aren't worried about losing anything on the device.

Be sure you back up any data you want to keep, to a computer or cloud account...

To "Hard Reset" the tablet...

1. Make sure that the tablet is actually powered off.

2. Remove your SD card, if there is one in the device.

3. Press the "Power" and the "Volume Up" buttons, together, until you see the start-up logo on the screen.

4. Once you can see the logo, release the buttons and allow the device to enter the "System Recovery Mode".

5. Next use "Volume Down" button to get to the "wipe data/factory reset" option When in recovery mode the "Volume Up" and "Volume Down" buttons are how to can navigate and highlight what option you need.

6. Once you have selected the "wipe data/factory reset", press the "Power" button to select that option.

7. On the following screen, repeatedly press the "Volume Down" button until the "Yes - delete all user data" option is what is selected.

8. Then press the "Power" button to hard reset the tablet.

9. If you took your SD card out in step 2, when the device is up and running again, reinsert the SD card.
