Asus wont start with or without powercord....cant remove battery no access

Asus laptop is not charging..I do not have access to the battery to try the removal method. Let it sit for a few hours still not power. o Cord looks fine. There is not a light to indicate power. Its a pretty cheap cord that comes with this computer.
