ASUS X553M freezes only while streaming videos and I have to hard boot it.

Sometimes it happens after the laptop has only been on for 10 minutes. It started a few months ago and would only happen every few weeks and has slowly gotten worse now it happens a couple times a day. The laptop is less than 2 years old.

I checked for driver updates and nothing. I've done a clean boot but it doesn't help.

If you are streaming a lot of videos, and leaving your browser open after many uses, plus running any programs, you may have well used up a lot of resources. Just closing them doesn't free up all of it. You would have to reboot to do that.

Also, you may want to check to see what is loading when you start up the computer. If there are programs or services running that you aren't using, they will also use up the resources.
