I've got an Asus X555LB-XO244T and I want to upgrade to 8 Gigabytes of ram (My laptop currently only has 4), however, I'm not completely sure what 4 GB DDR3L 1600Mhz ram modules to order. My laptop has 2 ram slots, so I'm planning on ordering a 4 GB module. Though I have no idea what brand ram is pre-installed in this laptop.
There are quite a lot of brands, and I heard rumors that some brands might not be compatible with my laptop. Since I'm going to order this part and not buy it from a store or a person (no stores that have it, nobody selling used ones either). I did find some on an online store, however I'm not so sure about them.
Has anyone bought A-Data 4GB 1600MHz DDR3L SO-DIMM CL11 or Corsair 4GB 1600MHz DDR3L SO-DIMM ram modules and were they compatible with your X555LB?
Is there a list of compatible Ram modules for this particular laptop?
Is 8 GBs the maximum amount of possible memory for this device?
