Asus x5dij locator

My friend has (or had) an Asus X5DIJ notebook, which has gone missing. Is there a way to communicate with this machine and locate it -- a locator app, or lojack, or some sort of GPS device which will remotely spot the machine? Thanks...

There is a way, but it needed to have been installed before it went missing. LoJack for laptops. Once it's missing, no way to find it unless you run into someone using it. File a police report.
