asus zenbook ux303 suddenly shuts down randomly

i have had this laptop for over 9 months and its now showing random shut downs. For example, using it with the battery, it can say it has 30%, or 17% ( numbers between that range) left and it suddenly shuts down. however, ive tried many ways, and sometimes the battery works correctly.

i believe theres something wrong with the battery. has this happened to anyone else?

how can i fix this?

Yes, you need to replace the battery if you can. This normally happens when the battery isn't able to hold its charge.
