[citation][nom]geminireaper[/nom]yeah they wont disclose the reason for the warrant because they didnt have a warrant to search for drugs. They happened to find them..so unless they edit the warrant none of the finds are admissable. GG FBI[/citation]

I just graduated uni in network security. Usually a warrant (assuming they had one) is limited to the computer itself, not e"anywhere in the house we want". And in the warrant process (yes, I had to fill them out), you typically have to state the suspect machines and which room(s) they are kept in; at least in VA. I'm not sure, but I don't think federal search warrants differ that greatly. Rahm probably got pissed and decided that Chicago thug politics were more expedient than using the actual law.

you don't get it.. they don't like u.. they bust u at yer house.. bring drugs with them.. take a picture of it, then bust yer ass.. who they gonna believe? some enemy of the people? or some my wise and beautiful friend pig fucker police of the regime? corporations run the govt. don't fool yourself.. and police are their triggers.. cuz they can get their piece of the pie and stay above the law.

When I saw the heading of this article, first thing that came to mind Gizmodo. After reading it, I am even more sure it is as I first thought. The mastermind behind this whole FBI thing is Steve Jobs. Just like he did with an unamed iPhone 4 lost, leak, and found fiasco.

Like I said before:
One iPad to rule them all, One iPad to find them,: One iPad to bring them all, and in the Apple darkness bind them.

Lord Steve "Sauron" Jobs.

[citation][nom]otacon72[/nom]"Goatse Security was furious at the slight against them and retorted with a blog post that said they had disclosed the vulnerability because they wanted it to be fixed before the wrong people decided to take advantage of AT&T's poor security."Then do don't do this..."Goatse Security disclosed the vulnerability to third parties.."How stupid are these people? They think they did nothing wrong? You don't tell other people about at the same time you tell AT&T....hello common sense.[/citation]

Revealing a flaw to third parties is a NORMAL thing to do. Usually it's either journalists or companies who are meant to deal with exploits. It's a VERY common practice in the computer industry by WHITE HAT (good) hackers.

Seriously, everyone, just like in any science; shut the fuck up if you don't get it.

I'd say he's pretty stupid for having shit like that laying about in light of the level of attention he created harvesting high profile peoples' personal information; assuming the drugs weren't planted.

Im pretty sure that when they come to serve the warrant anything in plain site is also fair game at that point as probable cause. If they found drugs laying around, they would have probably cause to search for more. Although, depending on where they are, they may need to obtain another or extend the existing search warrant to search for anything else. And as someone who used to do plenty of drugs, and also didnt shave or cut my hair for over a year when I was his age and rocked that same look, I often had most of those same drugs in stock all the time. I dont think the cops had to plant anything.

[citation][nom]pirateboy[/nom]legalise all drugsthe war on drugs is a scam[/citation]

So is the war on "terror" but we are still continuing to pursue that too, aren't we?

The only way that any of it will stop is if EVERYONE stops supporting this shit. So what the guy had a few drugs, he wasn't likely selling them out of his home to kids on the street ... let him do what he wants with his life for fack sakes.

Declined to comment on the warrant? - this country is SO fucked up. Bunch of fucking fascists just doing whatever they please....

well A. if you see his "sermons" he looks like hes a raving lunatic on meth.

Hes also a notorious troll who is always stirring up drama on the interwebs.

hes also a self admitted drug user (see his hacker conference speech while high on Acid where he talks about creating clandestine TOR networks for the facilitation of arms and drug traffiking. now hes also a trickster troll type, so its hard to tell when hes actually being serious, point being, he certainly wasnt keeping a low profile and or trying to be legit. play dangerious games with big corporations and sooner or later they send the LEOs on your ass.

Also in a raid, if they see any drugs or evidence of drugs, they can call in the drug task force and seize them. He likely wouldnt have been arrested except they found drugs which gives them an immediate reason for detainment. At least thats how it works in arkansas

Seems like Apple has managed to get their fingers into AT&T, another house raid? Steve Jobs must have his hands full.
