So I got an issue with sound in my laptop. Whenever battery goes lower than 80% and I plug in charger it cause audio slutters.
There are no problems with audio:
1)if laptops runs on a battery.
2)if connected to charger only when battery higher than 80%.
I found out that reason for audio slutters is high DPC latency, and reason for high DPC is charging of the battery(when I plug it in latency goes crazy, it turns all red). So my question is why???
Some things I did:
Reinstalled windows
Updated bios
Updated all latest drivers
Tried different AC adapter
Changed power plan
Changed processor state
Disabled fast boot
And probably many other things

Solution
might be the battery or the motherboard´s power regulation
I doubt that it´s a software problem, but did you install the latest APM / ACPI and chipset driver from the laptop manufacturer´s homepage?

Hey,
I do have latest drivers, but I didn't see any apm/acpi related drivers on manufacturer website. I got asus fx504gm.
Yeah you right it should be a hardware issue. Never been issue for me, since it is a gaming laptop, it is always plugged in. But decided to sell the laptop, so I though I can fix that:)
