Audio recorder (wireless)

Unlike CCTV is there any audio recorder that can record voice (only) cleanly and seamlessly. (the output audio should be clearly heard when played).

Wireless device should be an added advantage

Your recording will be as clean as the input signal (that is, the position of microphone with regard to the point where sound comes from). You cannot record someone speaking across the football field, even with best equipment.

As for voice recording: Are you looking for something portable / pocket size, some application for your computer, or old-school tape recorder?

Yes portable is great option but how long (days) can the device record audio as I cant monitor the device each and every day

lots to choose from. The quality will vary with the microphone and whether you can place it for best fidelity.
A voice activated one would be best.
You could also use a wireless mic and connect the receiver to the audio input of a computer. The battery on the mic would have to be changed when it ran low but recording time would not be an issue. Voice activated recording software would save recording space on the PC.
