Hi All,

I've been looking at the following setup, for a little while.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006H92QK
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J5UEGQ
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AK7SKL4
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068O3C

I know absolutely nothing about audio tech. I want to use this as my every day microphone for gaming, Twitch streaming, Skype, Ventrillo, etc.
Will the four items above be everything I need to get this setup going?

It seems like it should work. The XLR mic has phantom power from the 'Behringer XENYX502 5-Channel Mixer'. I'm just looking for any issues I may run into, or possibly a cheaper solution with the same microphone, that won't reduce the quality of the actual mic.

Any assistance is very much appreciated!!

while going xlr with a mixer has some definite advantages, the at2020usbplus for $138 is plug and play via usb. going xlr with a mixer would give you nice analog controls to adjust settings while usb eliminates equipment but requires you to use software to adjust gain, volume and the like.

Thanks for the input, ssdx. I've done a ton of research between the AT2020 XLR and USB versions.
I decided to go with the XLR version for quality reasons, and the fact that the boom stand I wanted only supported XLR.

With the audio mixer and cable, I'm only $20 or $30 over the USB+ version of the AT2020, and I've kept my options open.

I'm really just trying to make sure I'm not missing anything to get this to work. :)
