authentication problem with wifi

Everytime i type in my password and try to connect it says "Authentication Problem". I have tried many things to fix this including rebooting my wifi. restarting my phone. putting my phone on air plane mode. and clearing all data in my google services. and i tried in other phones also but nothing has worked. PLEASE HELP ME

If you are having an "Authentication Problem" error pop up, that's usually due to the password being invalid. Double check that you have the correct password for your wifi.

This is quite an old thread but the advice given is still valid. Did you read it? It worked for the orginal poster.

Hi thank you for posting this i too just type in wrong wifi pw and i trying to retype it but wont let me rather not showing option to re enter help please

Restart the computer and the router and you should get another chance.
