Solved! AV receiver upgrade

My account receiver has finally packed in. It's a marrantz sr7002.

I'm looking for a modern equivelant of this amp.

Ideally 4k so it's future proof. I currently have a 6.1 speaker setup.

I'd like to stick to marrantz or dennon ideally. Budget of 1k to 1300k.

This is my current A/V after upgrading when my Marantz kicked the bucket mate, havent had a problem with it in 18 months !!!

Thanks. I do like onkyo, but I really would like to stick to marrantz or dennon. I've had nearly 13 years out of that amp and that's owed some brand loyalty.

The new Marantz SR5013 or 6013 will work great for you. Heos music streaming built in and even better sound than your old one. The SR6013 will have a firmware update available to support forthcoming Imax enhanced content.
The Denon isn't bad but for me the Marantz sounds better.

The SR7012 is a discontinued model but if you can get a good price on it it has most of the features of the newer ones. Sound quality will likely be very close.
