Best headphones under $100

So ive been using some $30 Sonys for just over a year now and i feel like a need a upgrade. My budget is around $100 give or take a couple of dollars, and im fine ordering online from amazon and NCIX (i live in Canada).

I found these headphones, do you think this is a good deal?

audio technica Ath-m50 is usually the recommendation for 100 bucks

Yeah, ATHM50 from Audio Technica's a good pair. I've had mine over a year now, and they're still running strong, after daily use and from casual abuse. I don't take good care of them (I just toss them around sometimes, and forget them under piles of clothes at times). They usually go on sale for around $100 on Amazon around black friday, the lowest I've seen them being around $98. Regularly, they're around $110, so don't pay more than that.
