Best Headset for Laptop Gaming

So I currently play all my PC games on my desktop but in a few months I will be in college with (most likely) the MSI GS70. I usually game with speakers for sound (Logitech Z623) but I think it's time to invest in a good headset. I am curios what the best headset would be for me. So basically I would like a headset that is convenient and compatible with lots of devices (Desktop, laptop, iphone, and maybe even consoles). The headset doesn't have to work with phone/consoles but, it would be nice. Price isn't a huge concern for me so I mostly just want some of the best quality gaming headphones that I can buy. Surround sound and Bass are important to me for gaming headphones as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hey,

turtle beach has some good headsets that you can connect to both pc's and consoles, but since they require a usb port for power a phone might not work.
