Best laptop under 800 for college IT student

I'm a college student studying networking and security.. Looking to buy a new laptop under 800 for school and general use...
Ive been looking at the Dell inspiron 17 and 15 also the Asus q302 and Asus x550.... Any suggestion or thoughts? (I love Asus and dell the most but I'm open to whatever)

Asus is better quality of Dell.
15in is much better for portability and I would settle for no less then an i5 cpu and 6gb of ram.
