Best non-smartphone for Verizon

I went through 2 flip phones from Verizon within the past year and they both broke on me and have bad call quality. Is there a different phone I can buy on like eBay or a 3rd party site that will work with Verizon and is reliable (will last at least 2 years without malfunctioning or degrading in quality) with good call quality?

You'll probably have to check some reviews about call quality, but your area affects that as much as the phone.
