can't change settings in bios except language and date, i can't install windows on it because boot option is disabled and can't change. i install windows on other computer and put ssd back but when i power on laptop it tells " insert system disk in drive" but in bios ssd is recognized, what might be the problem? how can i change bios ?
laptop is toshiba tecra z40-a

You may have a BIOS supervisor password set which is preventing most of the changes from within the BIOS. If this is the case you would need to enter the password.

On Toshiba laptops it is normally F12 on startup to access the boot menu

Some BIOS' are locked down more than others, it varies from one model computer to another. You can't really install Windows on another, not identical computer, then pop it into another system (drivers, HAL, etc. get in the way), either.

supervisor is registered as shown but it is so unchangeable, only i can change is bios password hdd password and language

how is the solution ?
